Return & Refund Policy

At INKLS™, we are committed to delivering premium products and an exceptional customer experience. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Act 68 of 2008).
1. Returns
We accept eligible returns within 15 days of the delivery date, provided that:
- The product is unused and in its original condition.
- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and inserts are included.
- Proof of purchase is provided.
- The product is returned in a resaleable condition.
Products that do not meet these requirements may not qualify for a refund or exchange.
2. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:
- Defective
- Damaged during delivery
- Incorrect
- Missing parts
Please contact INKLS™ Customer Support within 7 days of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos of the product and packaging
Where required by South African law, INKLS™ will repair, replace, or refund the product.
3. Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind, you may return eligible products within 30 days of delivery provided they are:
- Unused
- In their original packaging
- Complete with all accessories
- In a resaleable condition
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by INKLS™.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or required by law:
- Customised or personalised products
- Custom printed stickers or labels
- Digital products
- Gift cards
- Clearance or final sale items (where legally permitted)
- Opened thermal paper rolls or consumables with broken seals
- Products damaged through misuse, accidental damage, improper handling, neglect, or unauthorized repairs
5. Thermal Paper & Consumables
Thermal paper rolls, labels, stickers, and other consumable products may only be returned if:
- They remain unopened and sealed.
- They were supplied incorrectly.
- They are defective.
Opened consumables cannot be returned unless required under applicable South African consumer legislation.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved, your refund will be processed using your original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
7. Exchanges
We replace products only when they are:
- Faulty
- Damaged
- Incorrectly supplied
Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
8. Return Shipping
If the return is due to an error by INKLS™, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
If the return is due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.
For your protection, we recommend using a tracked courier service, as INKLS™ cannot be held responsible for returned parcels lost in transit.
9. Warranty
Where applicable, products sold by INKLS™ include the manufacturer's warranty.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper use
- Accidental damage
- Water or liquid damage
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage caused by negligence or misuse
Warranty claims may require inspection before approval.
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Act 68 of 2008) or any other applicable South African law.
Where this policy differs from your statutory rights, your legal rights will always prevail.
