Return & Refund Policy

At INKLS™, we're committed to providing quality products and a shopping experience you can trust. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

1. Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused and in its original condition.
  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and inserts are included.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.
  • The item is returned in resaleable condition.

Items that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for a refund or exchange.


2. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged during delivery
  • Defective
  • Incorrect
  • Missing parts

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

We may request photographs or videos to assess the issue before approving a replacement, repair, or refund.

Where required under applicable South African consumer law, we will repair, replace, or refund the item.


3. Change of Mind Returns

If you simply change your mind, you may return eligible products within 30 days, provided they are:

  • Unused
  • Unopened where hygiene or safety seals apply
  • In original packaging
  • In resaleable condition

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.


4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, or customization reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Personalised or custom-made products
  • Custom printed stickers or labels
  • Digital products
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or final sale items (where permitted by law)
  • Opened consumables where the protective seal has been broken
  • Products damaged through misuse, neglect, accidental damage, improper storage, or unauthorized repairs

5. Thermal Paper & Consumables

Thermal paper rolls, labels, stickers, and other consumable products may only be returned if:

  • They are unopened.
  • The packaging remains sealed.
  • They are defective or supplied incorrectly.

Opened consumables cannot be returned for hygiene and quality assurance reasons unless required by law.


6. Refund Process

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.


7. Exchanges

We replace products only if they are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged
  • Incorrectly supplied

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.


8. Return Shipping

Where the return is due to:

Our Error

  • Incorrect item
  • Faulty item
  • Damaged delivery

INKLS™ will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked courier service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost during return transit.


9. Warranty

Certain products may include a manufacturer's warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use
  • Accidental damage
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Damage caused by liquids, misuse, or negligence

Warranty claims may require inspection before approval.


10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights available to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Act 68 of 2008) or any other applicable South African law.

Where this policy differs from your legal rights, your statutory rights will prevail.
